Emma Coronel Aispuro, 31, faces a life sentence
— plus a $10 million fine — for her involvement in the drug organization long run by notorious caged hubby El Chapo, now serving a life sentence in a Colorado Supermax prison.
And while her deal allegedly would not require her to cooperate, experts believe it’s her only hope if she wants to return to the two daughters she shares with the bloodthirsty drug lord.
“Any sentence reduction hangs on what she gives them,” said former police officer and current criminal defense attorney Peter Gleason.
The feds claim Emma was a key player in the cartel and acted as her husband’s agent while he was on the lam. An informant squealed that she even helped mastermind his daring

Lopez, 36, and Ovidio Guzmán Lopez, 31.
While El Chapo’s fate is already sealed, his wife’s testimony could sink her imprisoned father, Inés Coronel Barreras, and her brother Inés, also in custody. While Emma’s testimony may buy her eventual freedom, it could come with a price.
“She would be ratting on some very dangerous people,” Gleason said.
“It would make her an immediate target — whether she’s behind bars or not!”
