SNOOP FEARS JOB IS A DOGG’S LIFE!
LAID-BACK stoner Snoop Dogg is taking a day job with hiphop label Def Jam Recordings because he’s not as rich as he thought — and sources snitched he’s panicking about having to work nine-to-five for the first time in his life! The 49-year-old “Doggystyle” rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, took the executive job for the paycheck, benefits and perks — but sources spilled to The National ENQUIRER he forgot he’d actually have to work for it. “It sounded like a good idea and he can play a good game and handshake, but now it’s got him flustered and he can’t sleep, he can’t eat,” sniped an insider. “Snoop is freaking out how he’ll measure up to the other execs who’ve been dealing with the grind for decades.
He’ll have to attend business meetings and make smart creative decisions that align with Def Jam’s mission, and he’ll have to wear a suit and work Monday to Friday all year except two weeks off for vacation!”
The rapper and Martha Stewart pal is famous for liking to chillax.
“This is a guy who blew off responsibility most of his adult life and smoked weed with Martha, but he’s got to earn a paycheck to keep up that extravagant lifestyle he likes so much — like the cars and the homes and the bling, not to mention the pot,” warned an insider. “On paper he’s worth $150 million, but when it comes to cash he’s strapped!”
Sources tattled Snoop, who didn’t respond to a request for comment, wants to make his new bosses proud, “but he’ll be sweating while he works!”
