DOG PACK MAULS KID, 7, TO DEATH!

Neighbors complained about rampaging beasts for years

-

APACK of murderous dogs ripped a sevenyear-old South Carolina boy to pieces — and now the neighbors are saying it’s a miracle this terrible tragedy didn’t happen sooner!

The snarling beasts swarmed young Shamar Jackson and his brother as they searched for their pet Chihuahua in Marion, according to local police reports.

And while the older brother was able to escape the rampaging mongrels by climbing over a fence, the boys’ weeping father said one of the dogs dragged Shamar back to his horrific death! “They ripped all his clothes off of his body. You know, MAULED him,” he recalled with a shudder.

“[He] couldn’t get away because it was so many dogs coming from different directions!”

The Marion

County Sheriff’s

Office said it seized six mutts from a nearby property as part of its investigation, but didn’t provide any information as to whether their owners had been arrested or charged. The dogs “were absolutely not strays!” proclaimed Fletcher Estes, the county’s animal control officer. Distraught area residents said they’ve complained to Marion County officials about vicious neighborhood dogs for ages with no action taken. “I’ve stayed down here about 30 years,” said neighbor Rafeaiel Sheppard, who said he has narrowly escaped when vicious dogs in the area chased him.

“In about ten years of it, everybody been complaining about these dogs!

“But you know Marion County. Something have to happen for them to actually know what’s going on.”

Estes said he was unaware of any prior complaints about the six brutes they seized, but admitted there was a history of complaints about dogs in the area.

Shamar’s shattered dad, Carnell, said he was relieved the dogs that he believes mauled his son to death have been removed from the community.

“They did what I wanted them to do,” he said. “Get the dogs and get them off the block, because other kids are here. I’m not just thinking about my kid. I don’t want nobody hurt!”

Sheriff Brian Wallace said the investigation remains ongoing. And while he’s gutted over the death of his son, Carnell said he’s not angry — because he believes his child is with God.

“I’m at peace,” he said. “Many people think I should be running around here acting crazy. I don’t have to act like that. I know where he’s at.”
