Pals fear as Ellen’s wife shrinks away!
TWIGGY Portia de Rossi’s frightfully thin frame has friends fearing the emaciated actress is on the verge of a life-threatening anorexia relapse, sources dished. The “Ally McBeal” alum, 48, was recently caught on camera looking like a bag of bones in an oversized tee that revealed her scrawny neck and arms! Sources said stress triggered by her wife Ellen DeGeneres’ toxic workplace scandal has left poor Portia a “wreck!”
As The National ENQUIRER reported, tipsters claimed the homesick Aussie begged the embattled TV yakker,
63, to head Down Under to escape Tinseltown’s scorn. “Everywhere she and Ellen go in Hollywood, they’re met with jeers and negative comments,” a source spilled. Doctors consulted by The ENQUIRER, who have not treated Portia, said she has dropped at least 15 pounds in recent months and appears to weigh 93!
“She’s looking emaciated!” said Florida physician Dr. Jerome Spunberg. “Stress, diet, anorexia? She surely looks like she needs to increase her nutritional intake!”
Dr. Yoel Shahar agreed and added, “She looks like a starving refugee.”
The five-foot-seven beauty has a history of anorexia, and she admitted shriveling to 82 pounds in the ’90s. But now that Portia’s spouse of nearly 13 years is under attack, friends fear her eating disorder may have roared back with a vengeance. “Everyone’s concerned the backlash will push her back to those dangerous ways,” a source spilled.
Neither Ellen DeGeneres nor Portia de Rossi responded to requests for comment.
