TOM’S PILLOW-FACE TALK!
Cruise’s chipmunk cheeks get folks chirping about rogue cosmetic procedures!
CHIPMUNK-CHEEKED Tom Cruise owes his puffy mug to Botox overload and a string of crazy cosmetic procedures, according to insiders.
The aging action star — who turns 60 next summer — was barely recognizable when he was snapped outside a restaurant in England where he’s filming the latest installment in the “Mission: Impossible” series.
“Tom’s been messing with his face for decades, trying to turn back the hands of time — and time is finally turning against him!” a source snickered.
“He’s spent a fortune on high-tech fads over the years. It’s an open secret he’s had fillers here and there, in addition to the best natural dermatology help money can buy.
“All that’s worked wonders — until now!”
As The National ENQUIRER previously reported, sources claimed Tom has undergone multiple procedures to preserve the boyish good looks that helped make him a star!
Surgeons consulted by The ENQUIRER, neither of whom have treated the actor, agreed Tom looks like a veteran of cosmetic procedures.
“He has a pillow face,” noted Dr. Anthony Youn.
“His face looks plumper. Fillers often cause that,” added Dr. David E. David. Insiders snitched Tom has also leaned on nontraditional treatments.
Among the tricks he’s tried to keep his mug wrinkle-free is a chilly skin-care regimen that requires plunging his face in ice water for a full 60 seconds, according to tipsters.
Tom also uses cleansers and applies toner, face serum, eye serum, eye cream, facial moisturizer and a neck cream in a daily 30-minute routine, insiders said.
The actor is also a stickler about seeing his
dermatologist, added sources. “Tom also loves other noninvasive treatments like microneedling to build collagen, plus laser treatments to tighten his skin,” tattled a snitch.
“He’s adamant that he’s never undergone plastic surgery and never will. But injectables and special treatments aren’t going under the knife, so it makes sense Tom would deny it.”
Still, insiders said Tom “goes overboard” on Botox and fillers, which can backfire.
“His face swells up and there’s not much he can do except bide his time and let his skin breathe for a while,” a source spilled.
“He works out like a dynamo and is in fantastic shape overall. But he eats way too much salt and it goes to his man boobs!
“He’s always going to think of himself as an action star, but if he doesn’t slow down with the kooky procedures, he’s going to end up looking more like a cartoon!” The medical experts quoted in this article have not treated Tom Cruise.
