LAST CALL FOR LIZ!

No more tippling for elderly queen

-

QUEEN ELIZABETH has been ordered to give up booze, but medical experts said the 95-year-old monarch should have quit drinking years ago!

Royal sources have revealed doctors told Britain’s oldestever monarch to stop tippling to remain healthy for a series of events in 2022 celebrating 70 years on the throne! “A woman of her age definitely shouldn’t be drinking,” warned longevity expert Dr. Gabe Mirkin. “Drinking at an advanced age brings damaged nerves and inhibits the body’s ability to break down alcohol.

“It can also lead to fatal heart disease, stomach ulcers, diabetes and high cholesterol, which could lead to brain disease.

“Even a little imbibing could come with a death sentence for someone in their 90s!” According to palace insiders, Her Majesty — whose creaky knees have forced her to use a cane — recently suffered a terrifying fall that could have caused massive, even lifethreatening problems. “Alcohol will impair her balance, making it likely she could fall and break her hip — which would be catastrophic,” Mirkin added. “This would make her more sedentary and increase the likelihood of poor circulation and lifethreatening organ failure!”

The fall forced her docs to cut her off at the bar, despite her habit of having a little tipple each evening to end her day, according to insiders.

The monarch has been nursing a broken heart since the death of Prince Philip, her husband of 64 years, at age 99 in April.

“The queen has been relying on nightly martinis to help her through the lonely evenings without Philip,” said one courtier.

“But her physicians have made it clear that needs to stop right now! They know the next drink she has may be the one that ends her long life.”
