JONAH HILL begged fans not to jaw about his yo-yoing weight — but experts fear his desperate plea has a fat chance of success!
“I kindly ask that you not comment on my body good or bad,” the 5-foot-7 “Superbad” star shared on Instagram. “It’s not helpful and doesn’t feel good.” Sources said Jonah, 37, has bounced from 270 pounds to 175 and back again, and one insider thought his post was “begging for backlash!”
The previously porky performer — who’s cut back on booze and taken up surfing — is currently clocking in at around
180 pounds, but he’s still weighed down by emotional baggage, tipsters dished.
“I spent most of my young adult life listening to people say I was fat and gross and unattractive,” he confessed. Now mental health professional Dr. Gilda Carle thinks the actor’s post will only bring more anguish. “Telling people not to comment only invites more painful comments!” said Carle, who has not treated Jonah. “He should simply share his struggles, ask for support and he’ll find empathy.”
