KILLER DURST COULD BEAT RAP – BY DYING!
EVIL tycoon Robert Durst has been sentenced to die behind bars, but insiders believe he’ll never make it to a prison cell! The frail 78-year-old real estate heir was convicted of murdering his BFF Susan Berman in 2000 and ordered to serve life without parole.
But at his Oct. 14 sentencing, Durst “looked horrible” and had “difficulties speaking and breathing,” according to his attorney.
The creep was taken to a medical center where he was diagnosed with COVID-19 and hooked up to a ventilator.
At his trial, prosecutors argued Durst killed Susan because she knew too much about the disappearance of his first wife, Kathie McCormack Durst.
Kathie was last seen alive in January 1982. Her body has never been found and a New York grand jury is now deciding whether Durst will stand trial in her death. Claiming self-defense,
Durst was acquitted of the 2001 killing of his neighbor Morris Black in Galveston, Texas, despite admitting to dismembering the body. A source said: “Robert Durst has managed to avoid prison all this time, despite being implicated in so many crimes. I’d expect him to find a way of not facing up to justice now, even if that means dying.”
