With some of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars acting more unhinged than ever, shrinks are warning they need mental health care, STAT! “Celebrities have been operating under a different set of rules without any sense of consequences,” says mental health expert Dr. Gilda Carle. “They need to realize they have to address their dangerous behavior — before someone does it for them!” In the wake of “the slap heard ’round the world,” Smith, 53, has announced he’ll do an emotional detox at a high-end retreat.
And Kanye, 44, who was banned from performing at bullying of “SNL” comic Davidson, 28, says he “is going away to seek help.”
“At last they are admitting their behavior is out of bounds and are finally seeking the support they need to change it,” says Dr. Gilda.
Meanwhile, Cardi B, 29, deleted her Twitter account before it burst into flames after she wished death and destruction on fans who dissed the rapper for skipping the Grammys. She told one to “drink acid” and another: “I hope your moms die!”
"She is a potential danger to herself AND others," cautions Dr. Gilda. “Her actions are a cry for help, even if she doesn’t realize it!”
