JADA PINKETT SMITH isn’t exactly standing by her man, Will Smith, in the wake of his Oscar night outburst — in fact, pals say she’s rubbing salt in his wounds by attending star-studded events without him and flirting with hunky guys right under his nose!
The “Red Table Talk” hostess, 50, got dressed to the nines and went solo to the grand opening of The Rhimes Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles on April 9 — just one day after the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced it was banning Will, 53, for slapping Chris Rock for joking about
Jada’s bald head.
“Ban or no ban, Jada is adamant she won’t change her lifestyle for anyone, not even Will,” spills an insider. “She fully intends to attend more of these events and rub shoulders with anyone she chooses, especially guys she finds interesting.
“She loves to boost her ego by flirting. She has a lot of cute male friends in L.A. who pop over for coffee.
Will doesn’t object out loud, but it’s common knowledge he finds it inappropriate.”
The friction is evident in a video from 2019 that recently went viral. In it, Will wearily tells his wife not to “start filming me without asking.” Jada — who was using the footage to promote her talk show — coldly cast his objection aside, telling viewers she’s “still dealing with foolishness” before peppering him with personal questions. “Now Jada’s continuing to push his buttons by flirting openly with other guys,” confides the insider. “Jada insists she doesn’t sleep with these men, but it’s still humiliating for Will to hear her gushing about how dreamy certain guys are. “Will’s friends are convinced this is a big source of his rage, along with their tame love life, which has been stale for many years.”
