CUTIE Cameron Diaz is coming out of mothballs after eight long years of retirement from making movies — and sources say her muchanticipated return is actually a heroic effort to save her pal Jamie Foxx’s flagging career! Insiders spill the 54-year-old Ray actor has been down on his luck professionally ever since Cameron quit Hollywood in 2014 — the same year the friends teamed up to score a box-office win with Annie! “It’s no secret Jamie’s career has taken a nosedive since then,” snipes a source. “So when Jamie called and begged Cameron to do the movie Back in Action with him, she couldn’t refuse. She’s got a big heart and she’s loyal to her friends. She wants to see Jamie get back on top!” But insiders also tell The National ENQUIRER Cameron, 49, will be glad to get a little break from guitarist hubby Benji Madden!
“Cameron may not want to admit it, but anyone can see that sharing this space with a rocker husband has been difficult,” mentions a mole. “They don’t seem to have any time apart and her friends agree this movie will be a good break for her.
