THE former All in the Family star has a thing for kooky collectibles — and her passion for porcelain pets flew out of control as her acting career sank!
After her 12-year gig playing Archie Bunker’s “little girl” Gloria on the classic sitcom and its spinoffs ended, Sally piled on 60 pounds from comfort eating and began buying stuff like crazy in a binge of comfort collecting.
“It turned into hoarding,” dishes an insider.
Along with herds of ceramic critters, the 75-year-old actress also stores teapots, pillows, perfume bottles and more!
“Sally found it hard to part with anything,” says a source. “Her bedroom was full to the brim!”
She admits she gathered so much stuff that “a lot of it is in storage. I guess I’m a pack rat. The warehouse people love me.”
