LOVE IS BLIND POKED IN EYE!

Sued for torturing the contestants

-

A LOVE Is Blind contestant has slapped the Netflix reality show with a scathing lawsuit claiming underpaid cast members were deprived of food, water and sleep! In explosive legal papers, Jeremy Hartwell charges the streaming service’s show runners cut members off from the outside world and subjected them to “inhumane work conditions.”

“The combination of sleep deprivation, isolation, lack of food, and an excess of alcohol all either required, enabled or encouraged by defendants contributed to inhumane working conditions and altered mental state for the cast,” Hartwell fumes. Hartwell also claims thirsty cast members were

to wait hours fresh water and contestants received weekly $1,000 paychecks despite having to toil for up to 20 hours a day, seven days a week.

The show pairs 15 men with 15 women in separate “pods.” Lovebirds must converse without seeing their potential mate and are only allowed to meet face to face when they agree to become engaged.

In a statement, producers and casting companies Kinetic Content and Delirium TV write: “There is absolutely no merit to Mr. Hartwell’s allegations, and we will vigorously defend against his claims.”
