Blindsided by breakup, weighs scorched-earth retaliation plan
REALITY diva Kim Kardashian has been left wiping egg off her pretty face after getting dumped by young stud Pete Davidson, sources tell The National ENQUIRER.
“She never thought he would be the one to break up with her,” spills a snitch. “She always assumed it would be the other way around, and now here she is, clinging to her pride.”
Still, Kim, 41, isn’t ready to burn any bridges with the former SNL star, 28.
“Her hangers-on are itching to spread some nasty rumors about Pete — how he’s a party monster who needs help, that he’s immature and superficial, bad with his hygiene, a freeloader, all this stuff and more,” says the source. “But she’s telling them to hold off for now just in case they can salvage something.” Tipsters say the relationship not only suffered because of the 13-year age difference, but the long-distance factor played havoc, too.
“Pete lives in New York, Kim in L.A., and she couldn’t very well drop everything just to be with him,” explains the source. “And when Pete went to Australia to shoot Wizards, they inevitably grew apart. Even though she visited him, it wasn’t enough to keep the flame going.”
Apparently, Kim’s four children came into play, too. “The kids always come first with Kim,” says the source. “Meanwhile, Pete marches to the beat of his own drummer and isn’t ready to be tied down by responsibility. He told friends Kim comes with a lot
of baggage.”
Others blab Kim’s loony baby daddy, Kanye
West, was a thorn in the relationship by constantly nipping at Pete’s heels with his taunting posts. The rap mogul celebrated the breakup by posting a fake obit announcing “Skete Davidson,” as Kim’s ex calls him, was “dead at age 28.”
While Kim has denounced Kanye for his juvenile jabs, pals say she can’t help feeling bitter about being jilted.
“Right now, she feels a fool to have believed his false promises,” squeals an insider. “She’s trying to process what the hell’s happened here.
“Pete ultimately felt crowded, especially with all the paperwork Kim and her mom, Kris Jenner, were pushing under his nose. He realized he wasn’t just in a relationship with Kim, but her whole family.
“He didn’t feel it was something he could take long-term, especially with her pressuring him to marry this summer and coraise her kids. It was all too much.
