NASTY SURPRISES AHEAD FOR CRIPPLED KUTCHER!

Worried docs weigh in on disease that left Ashton deaf, blind & hobbling

ASHTON KUTCHER’s shocking revelation that a frightening disorder had robbed him of his ability to see, hear or walk may be the tip of the iceberg, medical experts exclusively told The National ENQUIRER! The That ’70s Show star, 44, recently confessed he was Punk’d for real when he was crippled by vasculitis — a rare autoimmune condition that inflames the blood vessels, resulting in cataclysmic damage to organs and tissue, according to the Mayo Clinic. “I had this weird, super rare form of vasculitis that, like, knocked out my vision, it knocked out my hearing, it knocked out, like, all my equilibrium,” says the Two and a Half Men alum. He says he worried: “I don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to see again, I don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to hear again, I don’t know if I’m ever going to be able to walk again,” adding he was

“lucky to be alive.”

And while he insists his recovery is complete, doctors believe Ashton may face the terrifying reality that the rare condition could come roaring back at any time — worse than before!

“The long-term prognosis should be VERY guarded,” says New York internist Dr. Stuart Fischer.

“Any organ that was affected might have suffered permanent damage!” Longevity expert Dr. Gabe Mirkin agrees.

“It can certainly come back even stronger,” says Mirkin. “It is treated by taking drugs that suppress immunity and lead to complications that increase the risk of future infection.”

Disturbingly, Ashton also admitted to battling baldness for a decade with dihydrotestosterone — a drug Mirkin says may increase the risk for infections that could lead to vasculitis.

“He has also suffered from pancreatitis, which indicates possible serious damage to the liver, gall bladder and pancreas,” he says. “Vasculitis can cause permanent damage to ANY nerve function and can be very dangerous moving forward. A recurrence could bring back his crippling symptoms!” The medical experts quoted in this article have not treated Ashton Kutcher.
