Wedding snub of Ben’s bro turns new in-laws against her
BRIDEZILLA Jennifer Lopez ignited a bitter feud with hubby Ben Affleck’s family by banning her groom’s kid brother, Casey, from the couple’s star-studded Georgia wedding bash, sources squeal.
The image-conscious Marry Me beauty “wouldn’t even consider” inviting the Manchester by the Sea Oscar winner to their ritzy celebration because he was sued for sexual harassment in 2010, a tipster spills.
Two women who’d worked on I’m Still Here, which starred Joaquin Phoenix, had accused Casey, the mockumentary’s director, of misconduct. He denied any wrongdoing, and both cases were quietly settled out of court.
Sources snitch J.Lo wasn’t interested in hearing Casey’s side of the story, overruled Ben’s protests and insisted her scandal-scarred brotherin-law not attend the August event — sparking a massive firestorm!
Spies blab Chris Anne Boldt, Ben and Casey’s mom, was furious over the snub.
As The National ENQUIRER reported, insiders also say Boldt — who’s still close to Jennifer Garner, Ben’s ex-wife — isn’t a fan of the Love Don’t Cost a Thing diva.
Still, Boldt did attend the festivities at Ben’s 87-acre Riceboro estate — despite suffering a deep gash on her
leg days before the “I dos.” But a source dishes, “She was fuming about Casey not being there and barely spoke to Jennifer throughout the entire affair!
“She can’t believe Ben would let his new wife steamroll him like this!”
Meanwhile, Casey, 47, was spotted getting a cup of coffee in L.A., while Ben, 50, and J.Lo, 53, exchanged vows before family and friends — nearly a month after they’d quietly tied the knot in Las Vegas.
But Ben’s bro brushed off his absence by claiming he had “other things” to do!
