FAKE PALS LUKE & BLAKE SPOILING FOR A FIGHT!
BITTER frenemies Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton playfully rib each other in public — but behind the scenes, the gloves are coming off as the combative country kings punch their rivalry into high gear, sources snitch. “They may pretend their feud is all fun and games, but people around them know they get on each other’s nerves big-time,” spills an insider. “They’re rivals in country music — and everything else.” According to tipsters, the musicians, both 46, are keeping a close eye on each other’s professional accomplishments.
Both stars are currently on tour, and the insider says each is “boasting they’ve got a better show!” Adding fuel to the fire, the American Idol judge is good buddies with Blake’s exwife Miranda Lambert and never passes up a chance to compliment the songbird, squeals the source.
“Luke tends to side with Miranda whenever there’s an issue, and it burns Blake’s gut like nothing else,” blabs the insider. “Luke’s also been known to drop by Miranda’s Casa Rosa eatery for a bite, even though he has his own bar in downtown Nashville. He avoids Blake’s establishment.”
The mole dishes Luke has also blasted Blake’s farming skills as inadequate!
“Luke prides himself on his eponymous snacks that come right from his own cornfield, while Blake wouldn’t buy Luke’s popcorn if it was the only one on the shelf,” confides the insider. The spy says it’s no wonder Luke didn’t score a wedding invite in 2021 when The Voice coach got hitched to pop star Gwen Stefani! Adds the insider, “Blake said only family and CLOSE friends were invited!”
