TV CHATTERBOX Kelly Ripa confesses she mistook getting old for getting pregnant!
The bubbly talk show host, 52, reveals that during the pandemic lockdown she thought she and hubby Mark Consuelos, 51, were going to have another baby because she’d missed her period.
But it turns out the mom of three wasn’t knocked up — she was just hitting menopause. “I thought my husband got me pregnant,” Kelly says. “I started taking pregnancy tests daily, but then Mark sort of gingerly said, ‘Could there be another reason why you’re not getting your period?’ and me saying, ‘What other reason could there possibly be?’ “He really had to walk on eggshells here.”
On a plus note, Kelly says she was glad she “didn’t have to explain to my kids that they were about to meet their new sibling.”
