JITTERY Josh Duhamel believes his new marriage to beauty queen Audra Mari will be smooth sailing — just as long as exwife Fergie doesn’t churn the waters!
The Win a Date with Tad Hamilton star, 49, married 28-year-old Mari Sept. 10 after nearly four years together, but remains wary of his Let’s Get It Started singer ex’s presence in their lives, confides a friend. “Fergie is a sweet soul and she wants to welcome Audra into their family, especially since Audra is now a stepmom to Axl,” her nine-year-old son with Josh, snitches an insider.
“But Josh sweats it out any time the two of them are together. He knows Fergie has loose lips and he doesn’t want her to fill Audra’s head with what he was like when THEY were married!”
Josh and the former Black Eyed Peas singer, 47, were an “it” couple when they wed in 2009 — but their love boat hit an iceberg when stripper Nicole Forrester claimed she had a one-night stand with Josh months after he tied the knot!
The couple finally split in 2017.
“Josh admits he made mistakes in his marriage to Fergie, but he doesn’t want Audra to hear about them,” dishes the pal.
“He wants to keep those two as far from each other as possible!”
