The eldest child of Jen and Ben was all smiles as she enjoyed a shopping day in Beverly Hills Sept. 10 with
J.Lo, who treated the teen to lunch and let her take the wheel on the drive home. Garner “has no problem with these hangouts because she knows Violet is loyal and only has her parents’ best interests at heart,” squeals a source.
“It’s not like Jen’s grilling her or sending her on a spy mission per se, but Violet is very transparent in terms of sharing whatever goes on when she gets home. She definitely keeps her mom in the loop. Nothing happens without her knowing about it.” J.Lo is stepmom to Ben’s three children with Garner: Violet, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, while Ben became stepdad to twins Emme and Max, 14, from J.Lo’s previous marriage to Marc Anthony. “Amazingly, Ben and J.Lo have got this blended family thing down pat,” snitches an insider. “J.Lo is well aware how protective Violet is toward her folks. She’s trying really hard to win Violet over — and her siblings, too. She’s knows it won’t happen unless she treats their dad like a prince, which is not a problem!”
