The Nashville beauty, 33, was seeking treatment for alcohol abuse and depression in 2018 when she granted full custody of now seven-year-old Kaya to baby daddy ex Wladimir Klitschko, 46, who’s raising her in Ukraine — his wartorn home country.

Heroes hottie has sought to alter their agreement, but the former heavyweight boxing champ won’t even consider it! “Hayden is heartbroken because she’s only seen Kaya a handful of times since she left [the U.S.],” a source spills. “She says Wladimir is a great dad to their daughter, but a girl needs her mom, too.” In fact, Hayden recalls a conversation with Wladimir, who told her, “Kaya’s going around and asking other women if she can call them mommy.” The petite performer adds, “He thought this was funny, and it was horrifying to me.” A pal dishes Panettiere’s lawyers have told her any custody battle with her ex is likely to end in failure because of Wladimir and Kaya residing in Ukraine. “She’s told her best bet is to reach an out-of-court agreement, but she can’t get Wlad to budge!” the friend confides.
