DAYS DIVA DEIDRE FIGHTS TO KEEP FANS

-

DAYS of Our Lives star Deidre Hall is going through the wringer over the show’s “demotion” from NBC to the streaming service Peacock — but she’s determined to win back unhappy viewers any way she can, The National ENQUIRER has learned! “Deidre’s always been the mainstay of the show and she’s the first to know how confusing these changes have been for the fans,” spills an insider.

“The move is clearly seen as a demotion after 57 years on a major network — and viewers are rightfully pissed off!” The beloved soap has already lost an astonishing 750,000 viewers since the move was announced in August.

“People can’t even find it now,” whines a source. “The show’s also trying to cut corners and the fear is it will look tacky and lackluster!” Deidre, 74 — along with older co-stars, such as John Aniston, 89 — refuses to retire and watch the show go down the drain.

“Days has been her bread and butter for 46 years and she hates having to audition again for other roles at her age. That would be degrading,” blabs an insider. “She’s revolting by having to encourage fans in supermarkets and on social media to hang in there — but if anyone can save Days, it’s Deidre!”
