MERYL IS MARK’S MONSTER-IN-LAW!
HOTSHOT British music producer Mark Ronson has no trouble making sweet sounds with icons such as Paul McCartney, Adele and Lady Gaga — but sources say he’s petrified of striking a sour note with mom-inlaw Meryl Streep!
Ronson, 47, married the Oscar winner’s 36-year-old daughter, Grace Gummer, in August 2021, and a pal reveals: “Mark has an incredible gift of gab with anyone else, but around Meryl he gets all tonguetied worried he’s going to say the wrong thing.”
Mark and Grace are now expecting their first child, yet becoming a dad apparently isn’t as daunting to him as chatting with Meryl, 73.
“Grace gets a kick out of it,” says the friend. “To her, Meryl is just mom. But to Mark, she’s the world’s greatest living actress, and he feels he should bow down in her presence. “Meryl thinks Mark’s jitters are cute, and she’s wholeheartedly welcomed him into their family.”
