DYNAMIC Donna Mills at 81 years old may no longer be young, but she’s certainly restless for more acting work — and she’s looking to join the cast of The Young and the Restless!
The ageless beauty — who won an Emmy for a gueststarring stint on General Hospital and had a showy role in this year’s fantasy horror hit Nope— is weighing an offer to join the ageless soap, now in its 60th season, reveals a source.
“Donna adores The Young and the Restless, and the producers have been on her for years about jumping on board,” spills the source. “She’s still very enthusiastic about her acting career, and since the nighttime soap
Knots Landing made her a star, she feels like this will bring her full circle!”
Still, she may not be greeted with open arms when she makes her planned bow next year with the soap, which follows the trials and tribulations of families in a fictionalized version of Genoa City, Wis.
“The other cast members know Donna won’t be brought in to sit on the sidelines — she’s going to take screen time away from them!”
