SHARON’S TUMOR TERROR!

-

SCREEN sexpot Sharon Stone was recently rocked by the discovery of a potentially deadly tumor in her uterus!

A “large fibroid tumor” was discovered when the 64-year-old Basic Instinct star says she got a second opinion after being “misdiagnosed” and treated with a double epidural — but still experienced “considerable pain.” “She’s fortunate to have gotten a second opinion,” says Florida-based oncologist Dr. Jerome Spunberg. “There’s always a small chance that there could be some malignancy hidden within the tumor.”

Now, Sharon is spreading the word.

“Ladies in particular:

Don’t get blown off. GET A SECOND OPINION. It can save your life,” she preaches, adding that she’ll be “down four to six weeks for full recovery.”

While uterine fibroid growths are generally non-cancerous, Spunberg warns that no tumor should be taken lightly but rather deeply scrutinized to ensure a full and complete recovery. “What looks like a fibroid may not be a fibroid,” he notes. "It's low risk, but you can’t say it’s zero! It could be a sarcoma or soft tissue tumor, which is cancerous.”

The Casino bombshell’s disturbing health history is also alarming to doctors. In 2001, Sharon shared that she had tumors removed from her body that were “gigantic, bigger than my breast.”

“That is certainly concerning,” says longevity expert Dr. Gabe Mirkin. “She’s far from out of the woods.” The medical experts quoted in this article have not treated Sharon Stone.
