JLAW’S HUNGER GAMES — BOUNCED CHECKS!
OSCAR-winning Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence is used to getting fat paychecks — but sources say the skinny on her new movie No Hard Feelings is that some of the other actors are hungry for payback over starvation wages and bounced checks!
“Something funny is going on with the financing. Many people have not been paid or been paid incorrectly,” squeals an on-set spy. “Our union standard rate for extras is $187 a day and $60 per diem in cash. Instead, they tried to give us $30 checks, some of which bounced!”
Sources say that because Jennifer, 32, is a producer on the film as well as the star, the buck stops with her — and that the actors who feel they’ve been stiffed want their bucks, big-time!
“A lot of people have received nothing. It’s outrageous,” grunts our disgruntled source. “We are not getting paid $20 million a film like Jennifer.
As a producer, she’s responsible!”
But pals of Lawrence say she was not aware of any underpayments or rubber checks.
“She will do everything in her power to make this right,” vows an insider.
