MODERN Family knockout Julie Bowen has revealed a lusty lesbian secret — she was in love with a woman who broke her heart!
“I was in love with a woman for a while — but she didn’t love me back!” the 52-yearold comedic actress admitted to Bachelor Nation’s Becca Tilley on her Quitters podcast.
“It never really took off, so I never really had to challenge my concept of my sexuality.” Julie clarifies that she’s “always been straight” — she dates men — and she thinks it’s “ridiculous” to put labels on modern sexuality.
“What you do with your body should not be the first thing that we know about people or care about,” she insists. “That’s YOUR business!”
Julie was married to real estate investor Scott Phillips, 49, from 2004 to 2018, and shares three sons with him — Oliver, 15, and twins John and Gustav, 13.

Scott fought constantly. “Honestly, I only remember up until we had the kids,” she wisecracked.
“I think she felt her only true feelings were the ones she had for another woman,” a friend of Julie’s dishes to The National ENQUIRER.
