Royal family crisis as ugly scandal will stop Charles from making her queen
QUEEN consort Camilla has been exposed as a secret racist after she coldheartedly ignored the shocking humiliation of a Black woman at a glittering palace reception! The disturbing incident plunged the royals into a devastating new scandal at a very bad time as a new war erupted between Camilla’s stepchildren when Prince Harry and his fame-obsessed wife, Meghan, blatantly upstaged Prince William and Princess Kate during their recent visit to the U.S.
Now a high-level palace courtier tells The National ENQUIRER, “King Charles is absolutely horrified and humiliated by Camilla’s behavior, and he has no idea what to do about the bitter rivalry between his sons and their wives.”
Following Camilla’s embarrassing display, flustered Charles, 74, launched a frantic facesaving mission to play down the disaster, says the courtier, who reveals it was too little, too late.
“The damage is already done and the consequences likely mean Camilla will never become queen at Charles’ coronation next May,” says the palace source.
“There’s no way anyone with racist sympathies can be crowned.”
The scandal exploded after Camilla, 75, hosted a Violence Against Women and Girls reception at Buckingham Palace on Nov. 29.
Ngozi Fulani, the Black director of an East London charity, revealed she was accosted by Camilla’s top companion, Lady Susan
Hussey, 83, who aggressively refused to believe that Fulani was British and born in the U.K. “What part of Africa are you from?” she repeatedly asked. “Where are you
REALLY from?”
The bizarre interrogation took place “over several minutes,” says Fulani, who was with two other guests. “It felt, as Black women, we were trespassers, not welcome or accepted as British.”
Although Lady Susan — William’s godmother — quit her honorary palace role the next day, the backlash was swift.
“There’s no way Camilla didn’t know what Lady Susan was doing as she was standing just feet away,” blasts a senior palace source. “But she did nothing to stop the harassment.”
This is just the latest racist allegation against the royals! In a bombshell 2021 TV interview, Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, who is biracial, sensationally accused a “senior royal” of questioning what the skin color of their then unborn son, Archie, would be — but refused to say who it was.
At the time, the blockbuster claim sparked speculation that Camilla was the culprit — and palace insiders believe it’s now been confirmed!
In his book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, author Tom Bower writes, “In one version, Camilla remarked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if your child had ginger Afro hair?’ Harry laughed. Meghan’s reaction turned Harry’s amusement into fury.” More recently, Camilla’s interaction with a Black girl ignited more indignation.
Gifting Paddington Bears left to honor Queen Elizabeth after her Sept. 8 death, Camilla picked up the preschooler’s arm by the sleeve of her shirt rather than her wrist.
“Look at Camilla trying her hardest not to touch a Black baby!” huffed an outraged Twitter user.
The new scandal comes along with the next royal generation’s blowup over Harry and Meghan scheduling an award ceremony in New York — honoring them for their “heroic” stance against racism in the royal family just days after William and Kate, both 40, presented awards to environmental innovators in Boston.
“This was no coincidence but a cheap shot to steal the limelight!” charges another palace insider.
Camilla’s latest outrage just adds fuel to the family feud. “I’m told William is horrified over Camilla,” dishes the palace source. “He’s tried hard to support his hated stepmother but can never condone anything racist. He feels caught in the middle!” But for Harry and Meghan, it helps to validate their claims.
“I’d say the only people getting some satisfaction from this debacle are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” says the courtier. “Seeing Camilla exposed as a racist must be their ultimate revenge.”
