NEEDY pop star Britney Spears is showering hunky hubby Sam Asghari with cold hard cash and letting him micromanage her life — to keep their rocky one-year marriage out of divorce court, sources snitch.
“Sam told Britney he was ready to leave if she didn’t abide by his terms and show him a whole lot more respect — and he made his move right when she needed him most after a crystal meth scandal blew up,” spills an insider.
A scathing report in June claimed Britney’s former husband Kevin Federline, 45, said he feared his ex was hooked on the dangerous drug. The Hold Me Closer hitmaker and Kevin both slammed the story as false, but sources say the songbird was ruffled by the flap!
“Britney’s desperate to hang on to Sam and agreed to everything he wanted,” dishes the insider.
“He’s gotten sign-off on her social media posts. She’s agreed to stop flirting with other guys and involve him in all the meetings and bigpicture decisions involving her finances and career. It’s a new start — with Sam firmly in the driving seat.”
The insider blabs Britney, 41, and her hubby, 29, are “extremely proud people” who “want to prove their critics wrong” by going the distance.
As National ENQUIRER readers know, the troubled Toxic singer got hitched to her honey of six years in 2022 — nearly seven months after being freed from a strict conservatorship, which kept her under her father’s thumb from 2008 to 2021.
“Britney knows without Sam in her corner things would have been a whole lot messier these past several years,” explains the insider.
