Cash crunch could force them to crawl back to king!
PANICKED Prince Harry and wife Meghan are feeling a cash crunch, according to sources who say the rogue royals may be forced to swallow their pride and crawl back to his family after their $20 million Spotify deal was axed!
Making matters worse, an entertainment insider squeals the money-hungry pair — who ditched royal duties in the U.K. to chase Hollywood bucks and raise kids Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, in America — are in danger of losing more than half of their $100 million paycheck from Netflix, which “wants out,” too!
While the couple produced the palace-bashing docuseries Harry & Meghan for the streaming giant, the mole squeals the pair’s Netflix agreement — which expires in 2025 — “hasn’t delivered” and has been “a nightmare from start to finish.”
Now, saddled with a $15 million Montecito mansion and annual $2 million security bill, insiders spill the Duke of Sussex, 39, and his diva duchess, 41, may need to beg their way back into the royal fold to save their sorry skins!
“Their money worries would be over if they return to the fold,” a high-level palace courtier tells The National ENQUIRER.
“But making peace with King Charles won’t be easy! I think Meghan would do anything to avoid the humiliation of being forced to sell the mansion and downsize.”
Insiders blab being dropped by Spotify was a huge financial blow, but the duo was publicly demolished by top industry experts. According to sources, the Spotify contract crumbled after pop superstar Taylor Swift turned her nose up at Meghan’s invite to appear on her Archetypes podcast and big shots ridiculed Harry’s proposal to interview Donald Trump and Pope Francis about their early formative years!
“The Sussexes have little to offer except bashing the royals — but that lemon has been fully squeezed,” sniffs the source.
