BIGHEARTED Dolly Parton made a dying Utah dad’s dream come true by singing to him on a special phone call while he fought for life in his hospital bed!

One year after being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, Gold, 48, drew up a “List of Living” expressing his wish to talk to the country music legend! The ailing lawyer says he’s a longtime admirer who’s often brought his kids to Dollywood, the performer’s Tennessee theme park, and read them titles from her famed free book program — The Imagination Library! However, LG recently learned medical treatments were no longer keeping his disease at bay and entered hospice care with only months to live!
That’s when Alice revealed his remaining wishes on
social media — and the Jolene singer soon gave him a ring! The delighted couple says the songbird chirped, “Hey LG, it’s Dolly P. I’ve heard you’ve been a fan of mine for many years, and I just wanted to thank you for that!”
Dolly then launched into her chart-topping tune I
Will Always Love You, and included his name!
LG gushes, “I feel like I’m immortal now.”
The insider dishes, “As soon as Dolly’s people told her about LeGrand and how his wife put up his bucket list on the internet, she dialed the phone right away.
“Dolly has made a fortune from her fans adoring her music, and she adores them right back.”
Meanwhile, Alice believes Dolly — who’s seen her late-in-life career reach new heights with Rockstar, her best-charting album ever — gave her husband the lift he needed when he was at his lowest point.
The appreciative spouse says the gesture confirmed the couple’s belief about the hitmaker “She’s unapologetic about loving everyone!”
