PARTY’S OVER FOR SORE SAJAK!
PEEVISH Pat Sajak is plenty sour that no one seems to be greeting his exit from Wheel of Fortune with anything other than relief, according to insiders who say his coworkers aren’t even planning a goodbye party!
“Pat would have thought they’d have some sort of celebration planned, cake and champagne at least, but no one’s told him anything,” spills an insider.
Sajak, 77, announced his retirement from the game show after more than four decades — but even though the haughty host has become a lightning rod for controversy, sources snitch he’s still expecting a proper sendoff! “He’s disappointed,” blabs an insider. “It’s like they can’t wait to see the back of him and are counting the days till he’s gone. Perhaps they’ll put something together at the last minute, but truth is no one’s sorry he’s leaving. Grumpy Pat’s been a pain in the butt for years!”
As The National ENQUIRER previously reported, Sajak has shockingly been caught making gaffes and belittling contestants.
In one segment, he grew impatient with a woman for guessing three puzzles wrong. “Why are you even bothering?” he snapped.
He has also made inappropriate comments to letter-turner Vanna White, 67, including bizarrely asking whether she has “ever watched opera in the buff.”
After Sajak announced he was stepping down, bosses hired golden boy Ryan Seacrest, 49, to replace him.
“If there were a party for Pat, Ryan would have to come and that would be incredibly awkward as Pat resents him,” spills a source. “Meanwhile, Vanna can’t wait to close the door!”
