THE six-year California court fight between Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan over Magic Mike moola is nowhere near finished, even though the former lovers are ready to boogie down with new partners. Their very dirty dance centers on millions Channing’s said to have pocketed from the Magic Mike franchise, which now boasts three hit movies, a reality TV series and a live revue in Vegas. Both Channing and Jenna have moved on with new loves since splitting in 2018 before being declared legally single a year later. The G.I. Joe star, 44, is engaged to Big Little Lies actress Zoë Kravitz. Jenna’s fiancé, Shameless actor Steve Kazee, is the father of her four-year-old son, Callum. She and Tatum share Everly, 10.
Jenna — who is pregnant with Kazee’s second child — claims the Magic Mike empire was launched while she and Channing were still married. She wants her share of the profits!
“Jenna says she helped develop the Magic Mike franchise and Tatum used their joint holdings to finance it,” an insider spills. “She believes Channing is acting out of spite not cutting her in on the income. But Channing just thinks it is sour grapes on Jenna’s part.”
Channing and Jenna, 43, are holding off on marrying their new boos until the dust settles in their financial fight, the tipster tattles, adding “They both feel they don’t want to enter a new marriage with this ugliness still hanging over their heads.”
The case is expected to go to trial later this year.
