The James Museum is unveiled
ST. PETERSBURG, FL
The exterior of the James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art has shed its scaffolding to reveal its eight-story facade. With an abstract design representing the mesas of the American Southwest, the building took more than 75 people over 15 months to complete. At 120 feet tall, the marker contains 14,900 square feet of stone and more than 82 tons of custom-fabricated steel. The James Museum is the home of 400 works from the collection of Tom and Mary James, and is set to open this spring.
