The 22-inch large, round basket is a Navajo wedding basket by Mary Holiday Black, which is an unusual work because it depicts both the bride and groom. Black is the matriarch of a large family of weavers. The 12-inch high butterfly basket is by Hopi weaver Regina Kagenveama, who comes from a family of basketweavers and learned to weave from her grandmother Josie Tyma and mother, Gladys Kagenveama.
