SWAIA member perks
Being a member of SWAIA lets people support Native arts and artists. All levels of membership, which start at just $75, gain individuals an invitation to the annual meeting. Other benefits include 10 percent off SWAIA merchandise and services at Native American Art Appraisals and a weekend pass to the Winter Indian Market. Higher tier memberships also include access to Indian Market’s Friday preview, and tickets to the best of show ceremony. The organization also offers business memberships, which include the same perks as the individual membership, in addition to the possibility of acknowledgement in the after-market thank you ad, inclusion in the Indian Market banner and booth guide, listings on the SWAIA website and more.
“Our membership program is an opportunity for individuals and businesses to support Native American art and artists. It is also an opportunity to stay in touch with us year-round, to experience the Indian Market in August and the Winter Indian Market in December,” says membership and volunteer coordinator Tammie Touchine. “The organization strives every year to continue our one-of-a-kind events, and we rely on booth fees, donors, sponsors and memberships to ensure our mission remains. Becoming a member of the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts is an easy way to help ensure the continuance of the Santa Fe Indian Market for another 100 years.”
