Ex-en­voy to kick off Jewish Au­thor Se­ries

WOOD­BRIDGE — The JCC of Greater New Haven kicks off its 2018-19 Jewish Au­thor Se­ries with Clin­ton ad­min­is­tra­tion am­bas­sador Wendy Sher­man, au­thor of “Not for the Faint of Heart: Lessons in Courage, Power, and Per­sis­tence” at 2 p.m. Sun­day.

Vine Fam­ily Au­di­to­rium at 360 Amity Road. Tick­ets are $5 for JCC mem­bers and $10 for non­mem­bers, avail­able at jc­cnh.org/ cul­tural-arts.

Sher­man spent four years ne­go­ti­at­ing with Iran and world lead­ers on the nu­clear ac­cord of 2015, and serv­ing Sec­re­tary of State Madeleine Al­bright on the Clin­ton ad­min­is­tra­tion’s North Korea pol­icy team. The book tells of the per­sonal and pro­fes­sional chal­lenges as­so­ci­ated with be­ing a woman in power. A short Q&A and book sales, sign­ings will fol­low the talk.
