‘Hanging of the Greens’ service

NORTH BRANFORD — Northford Congregational Church welcomes all to enjoy the Christmas season with its members.

Sundays in December, 9:45 a.m., join a traditional Christmas carol sing, followed by the service at 10 a.m.

Dec. 9, “Hanging of the Greens” service. By tradition, members help decorate the sanctuary and tell stories of the significance of the decorations.

Through the fourth Sunday in December, there will be special Advent candle lightings and readings by families during the service.
