KAMMERER, EMILY

Emily Kammerer, 87, of Wallingford, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Midstate Medical Center. She was the wife of the late George D. Kammerer. She was born in New Haven on July 26, 1931 to the late John and Elizabeth Bell. Many years ago she worked at Kresge’s on Chapel St. in New Haven. She is survived by two sons, George D. (Margaret) Kammerer, Jr. of East Haven and David J. (Alexis Kammerer of New Haven, two daughters, Jean (Jerry) Donovan of Meriden and Evelyn (David) VanDerMaelan of Wallingford, as well as 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Debra Brown and two sisters Margaret Eimutis and Mary Hobart.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at the East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. There will be no calling hours.
