JOHNSON, ROSALIE GLORIA

Rosalie Gloria Johnson, 86, of East Haven, entered into an eternal rest peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

She was the beloved wife of the late Langdon Johnson, Sr., sharing almost 50 years of marriage.

Rosalie was born in New Haven on October 30, 1931. She was the daughter of Michael and Carmel Gambardella. Rosalie found great pleasure in cooking, and providing constant love and affection to her family and grandkids.

She is predeceased by her children Roger, Annie, and Michael Johnson. She leaves behind children Langdon Johnson Jr (Aggie), Rosalie Cifarelli (John), and Gregory Johnson (Lisa).

Beloved Grandmother of Jessica Vollono (Christopher), Thea Speranza, John Cifarelli, Brittney Cifarelli, Lanie Cifarelli, Michael Perez, and Xander Johnson. Great Grandmother of Audrianna and Gabriella Vollono.

Family and Friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 2809 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Tuesday, August 21 at 10 a.m. to attend a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Services will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Our family would like to thank Sylvia, her caregiver, for the loving care she provided to Rosalie over the past 4 years. Her dedication and commitment to Rosalie allowed her to remain in her home of 62 years.
