Orange Realtor still has passion after three decades in business
The real estate profession was the ideal career choice for Wayne Hugendubel when he entered the field in 1984; and even though 33 years have gone by, his passion for the industry has not faded.
“I have always been a ‘people person,’ and real estate allows me the opportunity to meet new people all the time,” he explained. “I was a bartender for 26 years, so I was used to being a sounding board for people.”
As a Realtor, Hugendubel prides himself on his ability to listen closely to his clients. While some agents may be focused on other matters, Hugendubel takes the time to truly get to know his customers in order to best serve them.
“I believe that I am a great listener,” he said. “I try to always take into account my client’s feelings on certain points throughout the transaction.”
In order to further reinforce his services, Hugendubel employs a full-time, licensed assistant to ensure that his clients receive the best experience. He is also backed by the strength of his brokerage, whom he said provides “one of the strongest online marketing programs” in the industry.
“Coldwell Banker has the most extensive training for its agents so that we have a solid understanding of the real estate process,” he explained. “We are updated on changes as they occur so that we can explain them to our clients and make the transaction as smooth as possible.”
As a testament to his superior customer service, Hugendubel has earned several honors, including the ‘Five Star Realtor Award’ for nine consecutive years. He was also voted one of ‘America’s Best Real Estate Agents’ in Real Trend Magazine, was named the ‘Realtor of the Year’ in 2013 and ranked in Coldwell Banker President’s Elite for several years.
Hugendubel explained that the most rewarding aspect of his career is the opportunity to provide guidance during a stressful event, with the ultimate goal to earn his client’s repeat business.
“I have seen people start out as young couples, become families and are now preparing for their ‘golden years,’” he remarked.
