Sacred Heart Greenwich
Where young women become global leaders
Across 110 acres on King Street in Greenwich, you’ll find Sacred Heart Greenwich students in the observatory, on the turf, in the lab, behind the anchor desk, in the classroom, on stage, and in the studio. No matter the venue, Sacred Heart Greenwich students are encouraged to develop their own unique identities, personalities, and gifts to share with the world. Programs at all grade levels—whether spiritual, academic, athletic or artistic in nature—encourage students to express themselves, learn new skills and give the world the gift that only they can give.
Founded in 1848, Sacred Heart Greenwich is an independent, Catholic college preparatory day school steeped in solid academic tradition. As part of a network of Sacred Heart schools in more than 40 countries, internationality and global understanding are essential to academic coursework. By under-standing the backgrounds of people around the world, Sacred Heart Greenwich creates opportunities for students to find creative solutions to real-world problems.
Sacred Heart Greenwich strives to build leaders who design and redesign. Ones who develop solutions but continue to search for alternatives. Leaders who act on well-constructed ideas and understandings but are never quite satisfied with final answers. This designthinking mentality prepares young women to develop into global leaders capable of tackling the challenges ahead of them, no matter their future interests or ultimate professions.
