‘Bumping Mics’: Ross, Attell team up
Jeff Ross joins fellow comedian Dave Attell in a stand-up show called “Bumping Mics” at Mohegan Sun’s Uncas Ballroom on Saturday, June 23, where they’ll share the stage as co-headliners.
It’s easy to understand why Ross is known as “The Roastmaster General.” Not only has he roasted President Donald Trump (twice) before Trump became POTUS, he’s also roasted such celebrities as Justin Bieber, James Franco and Charlie Sheen.
A native of Newark, N.J., Ross’ latest television venture is “Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle,” a comedy competition that recently completed its second season.
Attell, a native of Queens, N.Y., got into stand-up in the late 1980s after graduating from New York University with a degree in film and TV.
Named one of the “25 Funniest People in America” by Entertainment Weekly, Attell is known for his caustic wit, rapid-fire delivery and “very adult” choice of material, not to mention his Comedy Central series, “Insomniac with Dave Attell” — a travelogue show in which he traveled the world looking for late-night fun.
