Silver Lake combines nature and faith for campers
Time and again they hear from their campers: “Silver Lake is where I can be the real me!” Silver Lake invites you to take the plunge this summer and find your true self, new friends, and a closer connection to God.
Silver Lake Conference Center offers one-week programs to young people entering grades four to 12. Activities vary depending on age group and theme. In addition to the traditional on-site programs, they also offer off-site adventures, a mission trip to Orland, Maine. For a full list of summer opportunities, visit www.silverlakect.org/ summercamp.
The Conference Center also hosts off-season retreats, welcoming both weekend and midweek groups. In addition to church groups, the facility has been rented to school groups, hobby groups, family reunions, and interfaith groups. Challenge course programming is available in the shoulder seasons.
They worship, learn, play, serve, and work together, respecting the right of private judgement. They seek to provide a safe environment of acceptance regardless of race, ethnicity, gender expression, or sexual orientation, reflecting our unity in Christ and respecting the faith journeys of all of God’s children.
Silver Lake Conference Center is a place where young people experience nature, make new friends, and explore their faith. With more than 60 acres of wooded land on lakeside shores in Northwestern Connecticut, Silver Lake offers many opportunities for young people to take risks and try new things with the support of an intentional Christian community.
