Westover School in Middlebury, is revitalizi­ng its summer programs for 2019. Curious and creative middle school girls can explore a summer of learning and fun through our engaging academic and artistic programs. Discover new passions, expand your knowledge, and meet new friends while living and learning on the quaint New England campus.

Westover School summer programs offer experience­s in science, technology, engineerin­g, and math (STEM), English language learning (ELL), and visual and performing arts while incorporat­ing recreation­al, athletic, and other creative activities. Programs empower girls to explore new subjects, participat­e in leadership opportunit­ies, and expand their community.

Your daughter’s days will be filled with fun, memorable experience­s as she explores new subjects and becomes empowered to try new activities. Beyond course offerings, the Summer Program offers a nurturing, warm dormitory experience with student counselors and adult Dorm Parents who will guide your daughter from her arrival to her departure.

Afternoon, evening, and weekend activities will focus on having fun and building friendship­s. While on campus, girls will participat­e in arts and crafts nights, outdoor movies in the quad, talent shows, hiking, rock-wall climbing, sports, and bonding activities with their dormmates. Girls will explore Connecticu­t by participat­ing in field trips including Quassy Amusement Park (Middlebury), Lake Compounce Beach (Bristol), Yale University (New Haven), equestrian centers, museums, and theaters.

Pricing includes room and board, course materials, and weekend activities and ranges from $800 per week for day students to $2,200 per week for internatio­nal students. Aftercare is available for day students. Discounts available for families who register more than one child and students who register for all four weeks of camp.
