SAFE SLEEP SERIES: Safe Kids Worldwide and Griffin Health will present “Safe Sleep for Your Baby,” to reduce the risk of sleep-related causes of infant death, at 6:30 p.m. May 27 and again June 24 at Griffin Hospital, 130 Division St., Derby. RAFFLE TICKETS: Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the St. Anthony Society Card Party/Night of Prizes at St. Anthony Church, New Haven, was canceled. The big raffle has been extended to June 26. GAYLORD GAUNTLET: The seventh
annual Gaylord Gauntlet 5K is scheduled for June 27. Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories and all participants will have a timing chip in their bib. Costumes are highly encouraged. A festival area will feature a live DJ and food and beverage trucks. A complimentary kids’ obstacle course will be open for children age 5 to 11 who are accompanied by an adult. The cost of registration at www.gaylordgauntlet.org is $85 until June 21. The day-of-race registration fee will be $90.
