WAGNER, ERIC N.

Eric N. Wagner, 66, of Hamden, passed away March, 2,2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Laurie Holabird Wagner. Also survived by a son Eric M.(Christina) Wagner of Branford, two daughters, Courtney L. Wagner of Hamden and Amanda J. Wagner of North Haven, four grandchildren, Justin, Melanie, MacKenzie and Glenn, two sisters Wendy (James) Wagner-Delehanty of NYC and Nancy (Brian) Wagner-Hislip of NJ, nieces and nephews Louis, Thomas, Stacy and Tara, and his favorite grandpup Milo. He was predeceased by a brother Thomas Wagner. Eric was born July 19,1954 in New Haven a son of the late Louis and Norma Trapp Wagner, was a graduate of Hamden High School and the CT School of Electronics. He was employed as an electrical engineer for many years at several area companies including Bauer Inc. of Bristol where he was presently employed. He was a longstanding and dedicated member of the Hamden Elks lodge # 2224 where he was a former Officer of the Year and Elk of the Year. Eric had a great love for hockey and throughout the years he had coached his children at various levels. He was a devoted New York Islanders and New York Giants Fan. Eric was a man of few words but loved by all. Family and friends may call at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Mask and social distancing required. Interrment will be private.
