The Travelers Championship will offer complimentary grounds tickets for military members and veterans, first responders, health care workers, and children 15-and-under to the tournament to be held June 24-27 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.

The tournament made the announcement Tuesday morning.

People falling under any of those categories can register in advance at travelerschampionship.com to receive a one-day grounds pass. Once the online form is completed, you will receive a coupon code, which can be redeemed through Ticketmaster.

These ticket programs are limited and are available beginning May 25, when all ticket sales for the tournament go on sale. Travelers previously announced that just under 10,000 tickets will be available each day beginning June 23, when the celebrity pro-am is being held.

“We’re pleased to be able to offer these unique ticket programs through our partners at Trinity Health Of New England and Stanley Black & Decker,” said Nathan Grube, the Travelers Championship tournament director, said in a statement. “Their financial support enables us to generate funds for charity, while also recognizing the efforts of so many different individuals who put others before their own needs.”

Defending champion Dustin Johnson, along with Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed, Bubba Watson, Marc Leishman, Paul Casey and Jason Day are among the golfers already committed to playing the event next month.
