Michele Ann Swaller, 65, of Milford, passed away on August 23, 2021. Born on March 27, 1956 in Pittsfield, MA, she was the daughter of Priscilla and Leo Pepin.

Michele was a very caring, loving and selfless person. She graduated from Stratford High School in 1974. Michele was a dedicated employee at Milford/Yale Hospital for 39 years. On August 1st, she retired from Milford/Yale Hospital, to spend more time with her parents and grandchild­ren. She was always there to help anyone in need and put everyone before herself. Michele was always remembered as an outstandin­g, generous and independen­t person. She treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchild­ren who she loved with all of her heart. She was the number one sports fan for her children and grandchild­ren as she attended all of their sporting events. Michele was an avid reader and a very active person. She enjoyed walking, gardening, skiing, swimming, and spending time at the beach. Michele cherished the time she spent with her beloved friends.

She took great pleasure in bike riding and skiing with her dear friend Judy Keating. Some of the most wonderful memories Michele had were vacations spent in Rhode Island, Cape Cod, and Florida with her family. She was a devoted Christian and member of St. Agnes/Precious Blood Parish, where she was heavily involved in a variety of religious activities.

Michele leaves behind her beloved children, Timothy (Amy) Swaller, Ryan (Diandra) Swaller, and Colleen (George Durso) Swaller; cherished grandchild­ren, Emma, Olivia, Evan, Benjamin, and Avery Swaller; former spouse, Victor Swaller; siblings, Paula ( John) Kostek Rothrock Daniel Pepin, Steven Pepin, the late Laura Thorp, Noreen (Daniel) Kokoruda, Ann Swaller, Kathy Scholl, Patricia (Stephanie) Swaller, John ( Jean) Swaller, and Brien (Debbie) Swaller; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Saint Agnes Church (Precious Blood Parish), 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Orange Center Cemetery, Orange Center Rd., Orange, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to The ALS Associatio­n at www.als.org.
