Irving Harold Shiffrin

Irving Harold Shiffrin, 78, of East Haven, CT, passed away Thursday, August 26. Irv was born in Schenectady, NY, the son of late PFC Morris and Ann Shiffrin. He was the husband of the late Andrea Shiffrin of Orange, CT.

Irv leaves behind his children, Marci (Jonathan) Wagner of TX; Steven (Stacy) Lefkowitz of NJ; Traci (late Bruce) Nabors of CT; John R. Coyle, WA; Glenn (Kim) Shiffrin of Guilford, CT. He is survived by his grandchildren: Alexandra, Max, Victoria, Brooke, Jacob, Matthew, Justin, Allie and Lainey. Irv was the brother of the late Barry Shiffrin of Lancaster, PA.

He graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1960 and earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of New Haven, CT. He was President of the CT Burglar & Fire Association for a period of time. He was the founder and owner of Land & Sea Security Systems in Milford, CT. He enjoyed traveling, country music, dancing and having a good time with family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Cong. Or Shalom Cemetery 50 Farwell St. West Haven, CT. on SUNDAY morning August 29th at 10:30 o’clock. The Robert E.
